Cultivating Healthy Habits for Chaotic Times


Whether you are a young professional, a busy mom, or a CEO of a large company traveling across the country, life can get pretty hectic. It's during these times that so many of us fall off course with our nutrition and fitness plans. With the right habits in place, anyone can learn how to make good nutrition and regular exercise work into their busy lifestyle. Read on for simple, real-life habits you can develop to make your health a priority in even the most chaotic of times!

Habit #1

-Remember your personalized nutrition and fitness plan is a lifestyle. By reminding yourself that you are living and not dieting, you allow yourself to relax and accept the times that you do fall off track. In life, we all fall offcourse here and there, whether it's going overboard at dinner or skipping too many workouts. Which brings us to the next point.......

Habit #2

-The most critical habit you can develop is accepting that you fell off track, ask yourself why and create a solution to get right back on course. Maybe you feel guilty and discouraged because you haven't had the time to work out in a week. Keep in mind, today is a new day! Formulate a game plan, such as waking up 30 minutes earlier to get in a cardio workout; already you are back on the right track.

Habit #3

-Incorporate all elements of your Health Structure. Your sleep, nutrition, exercise, supplementation and water are all very important so set yourself up for success. A few highly effective habits to pick up: keep your supplements on your kitchen counter in plain view so you remember to take them every morning. Bring a refillable bottle of water with you to work each day. And head to bed 15 to 30 minutes early every night for one week at a time until you achieve your desired hours of sleep you need to feel refreshed.
